Home Office Update (Again!)

If you've been following my blog for a couple of months you know I am constantly updating my home office.  I loved my last update with the Ikea Vittsjo bookshelf I sprayed gold (read about it here) but it wasn't enough storage.  I've always loved the Ikea Expedit shelving units.  They're super versatile and come in so many styles and you can store a lot of junk without it looking cluttered thanks to the pretty storage boxes they make for them.  So without further ado... my office!

I'm still so in love with my World Market desk.

 

Just some pretty...

 The Love print is still hanging from where my desk used to be.  I'll be adding a large tackboard above the shelving unit and possibly just standing the Love print on the shelves.  I really like using the neck forms from my Stella & Dot trunk show to display a few of my favorite necklaces.

I'm thinking of making my own tackboard and then covering with this fabric.  It's a steal at only $13.98 per yard.

Target Runner and Some Dog Shaming

I was really looking forward to posting today about the awesome runner I bought for my kitchen at Target over the weekend.  How the pattern and color was perfect and how comfy it is under the toes when cooking. Oh and it was a great deal at only $40!

I couldn't give up on this runner yet ($40 isn't really a great deal if you only get 2 days out of it) so I gave it a little hair cut and left it.

Fashion Friday : Stella & Dot's New Fall Line

The new Stella & Dot Fall line is available to purchase today!  It's always exciting when a new line is launched and this fall line is no exception.  I'm predicting this fall to be all about mixing metals and statement necklaces.  Here are just a few of my favorites!  

1. The Sutton:  I love this necklace because it can be worn 5 ways!  It can be worn long or statement and with or without the crystal strand or the crystal strand on it's own!  Mixing metals is perfect for fall.

2. Portia Bracelet:  Really interesting gold metal link chain in the center with some silver and crystal accents.  Perfect match to the Sutton.  Again with the mixing of metals...

3. Gilded Arrow Ring:  Simple little ring to match the Gilded Arrow Bangle.

4. Frida Necklace:  Hello, color!  Perfect way to carry the neon trend into fall.
