Baby R's Nursery- The Reveal

Finally!  After months of careful planning and decorating I am finally ready to show you Baby R's nursery as it stands today.  Reminder- we don't know the gender so I kept everything really neutral but I also left plenty of open spots to go back and add with some girl or boy items to make the room feel more personalized.  I am so happy with the way it turned out- I hope you enjoy it too!

On the left side of the room we changed out our hinged closet doors to be sliding so we could keep the crib and rocking chair next to each other.

The crib is the Kendall Crib from Pottery Barn kids.

Mobile is from Pottery Barn Kids too.

I went back and forth about what to hang above the crib.  I was initially going to hang the animal prints above the crib but I had visions of frames crashing down in the night and decided I wouldn't be  able to relax having them there.  I loved all of the colors of this tassel garland from Fancy Face Studio.  If it's a boy I am going to snip off the peach colored tassels and if I decide to do something more personalized over the crib I can always move the garland to the window or across the closet doors.

Next to the crib I have the PB Kids Wingback Convertible Rocker.  It was really important to me to have a rocker that was not only good looking but super comfortable.  The high back and sides make it really comfortable to lay your head back and the arms are at a nice height for support when holding the baby in the chair.

The quilt was lovingly handmade by mom (she's amazing) and the lumbar pillow is Gold Dot from Caitlin Wilson.

I wrote a whole post about the gallery wall above the rocker so you can read more about that here but all of the frames are from Ikea and the Gold Starburst Mirrors are from Target.

The dresser serves double duty as a changing table for the room.  The dresser is the Emery Extra Wide Dresser from PB Kids.

I have loved these animal prints long before I was ever pregnant.  I love that they are real baby animals and also love the simple white backgrounds.  They're from The Animal Print Shop and they're nursery perfection.  All of the frames are from Ikea.

It was easy for a gender neutral space to start to feel a little blah with all of the grey, beiges and whites so I picked out the Jade Tuscan Vertical Chevron Rug from Rugs USA to add some color and life.  I love the quality and softness of this rug and it shipped to me in no time.  I have a few rugs from Rugs USA in my home and I've never been disappointed.  Also important- It still gives me a lot of options when I add things down the line that are more gender specific.

Highly recommend this changing pad cover from Anais + Aden - we got our's at Buy Buy Baby.  The fabric is so incredibly soft and thick too.

Hope you enjoyed seeing Baby R's complete nursery!  Later this week I'll be sharing some tips for organizing the nursery.

    2. That Edgecomb Gray is such a chameleon! It reads a light beige in your photos (on my monitor), but always turns into a sickly gray in my house, haha. Love the nursery!!
