Today is all about wall stencils (please don't click away) I know exactly what you're thinking- but I promise there is no ivy, hearts or flowers involved. I can still remember the ivy my mom painstakingly stenciled in one of the bedrooms of our house growing up. Modern day stenciling is all about doing an overall pattern that mimics a look of wallpaper without all the mess and the price. I stumbled upon these great stencils by

I'm so crazy for this, especially in metallic paint. Doesn't it look like a super ritzy wallpaper?
You could even stencil on a simple jute area rug!
After racking my brain trying to come up with a place in my house I could use this I decided on my closet! I love patterns in unlikely places and there's a little less pressure for it to be "perfect" when trying it out in a closet. And it gives me motivation to actually clean and purge things in my closet!
I just placed my order for the Herringbone pattern!
